Venues

The Tomahawk Sports Dome (TSD) and the Mid America West Complex  provide us with excellent facilities for the athletes, coaches and parents. These venues combined give us a total of eight courts for the competition.


Participating Teams

The Super F League - Kansas City is the largest futsal league in the United States. In the last five years we have registered between 200 and 280 teams from all over the Kansas City Metropolitan area.

Registration Deadline

Premier Teams: October 13th
Recreational Teams: December 2nd


Referees

1. All league games will be refereed by registered USSF 
officials.
2. The referee is the final authority on the field of play. All
decisions of the referees with the respect to matters of 
fact, including judgment matters, are final.

House Rules to the Laws of the Game

- Goalkeepers will not be allowed to punt or drop-kick 
   the ball!

- FIFA Laws of the Game will be applied!

The following are CHANGES from previous House Rules:

1. Any time the goalkeeper plays the ball from his/her hands and/or feet, the ball must cross midfield or be touched by a member of the opposing team before the ball can be played back to the goalkeeper.  The goalkeeper is restricted to the 4-second rule once they are in possession with their hands or feet.

2. Goalkeeper
MAY throw the ball over the midline.

3. Teams
MAY score from kick-offs.

4. Goalkeeper may
not punt or drop kick the ball after making a save only.



Player Registration & Player Passes

Each youth player must be registered with the Super F League. Each team that signs up for the Super F League - Kansas City will receive up to 18 player cards. The player passes will be checked prior to each game. If you do not have your player cards prior to the match, then you will have to have them at halftime. If you do not have your player cards by halftime, than the game will be forfeited. If a player is ejected from a match the referee will hold onto the player pass, document red card on the back of the score sheet and present it to the Super F League onsite administrator. The player will have his/her pass returned after a one game suspension.

 

Players/Sister Teams/Double Rostering

1. You must have at least 5 players to start a game. 

2. Goalkeepers are allowed to be double rostered on their sister team.

3.  Sister teams may borrow up to 4 players each game

4. Players may be double rostered on teams that are in different AGE divisions only.

 


The Playing Court

The playing surfaces will be hardwood and a rubber synthetic surface. Official Futsal goals will be utilized. All the courts are specially marked accordingly to the Laws of the Game (PDF File 640k - Acrobat Reader Required).


Game Balls

The home team is responsible for providing the game ball.  U8-U12 will use a size 3, and U13-Adult will use a size 4.  Futsal balls may be purchased through the league or at our webstore.


Equipment

The wearing of shin pads will be mandatory for all players. A player will not be allowed to play without shin pads.


Length and Number of Matches

Each match will be 48 minutes (Two 24 minute halves). The referees will keep the official time on the field. Every team will play 8 games in the premier league and 6 games in the recreational league.


Home Team

The team listed first on the schedule is the home team. In the case of a jersey color conflict the home team must change jerseys.


Score Table - Team Representative

Each score table will be comprised of the following 2 individuals:
1) A volunteer from the home team.
2) A volunteer from the visiting team.

One volunteer will be responsible for completing the scorecard and the other will be responsible for operating the electronic scoreboard.


Age Divisions/Groups  

Boys & Girls U8-U19, Men’s & Women’s Open.


Forfeited Games  

If a team fails to show for a scheduled match, the referee shall allow a 5 minute grace period. After the 5 minutes, if the team has not yet arrived or does not have enough players to field a team, the game will be forfeited. The game will be tallied as a 3 to 0 loss for the forfeiting team and a 3 to 0 win for their opponent. If both teams do not show for a match, the game will be tallied as a 3 to 0 loss for both teams.
If the referee terminates a match for reasons other than an act of God or field conditions, the Super F League Competition Committee will decide the result of the match after hearing the official reason from the referee, and both coaches.

Teams forfeiting any matches will NOT receive a refund on their registration fee.

Forfeited games are recorded as a 3 - 0 loss.

Ejections - Red Cards  

a) Player Ejections

If a player is ejected from a match, the player's pass together with a referee's report of the incident shall be turned over to the Super F League onsite administrator by the referee.

The minimum penalty for an ejection is that the player shall not be permitted to play in the immediate next match.

The maximum penalty, after review by the region Super F League Competition Committee, may result in the individual players or teams expulsion from the competition.

If a player is issued a red card during or after a match the player receiving the red card will NOT be permitted to play in his/her team’s next match.

b) Coach Ejections

If a coach is ejected from any match, a referee's report of the incident shall be turned over to the Super F League onsite administrator by the referee.

The minimum penalty for an ejection is that the coach shall not be permitted to coach or remain on the player's bench in the immediate next match.

The maximum penalty, after review by the Super F League Competition Committee, may result in the individual coach or team’s expulsion from the League.

Cancellation of Games  

We reserve the right to postpone or cancel games at any time for any reason such as acts of God and bad field/facility conditions. If we do decide to cancel games, refunds will not be provided.


Rescheduling Policy  

Futsal Arrow Every team has the right to choose two different weekends as conflicts for the season. These dates must be chosen at the time of registration and before the registration deadline. Last minute requests will not be honored.
Futsal Arrow Rescheduling requests must be submitted to the league scheduler at scheduler@kansascity.superfleague.com.
Futsal Arrow The rescheduling fee is $75. This fee will cover court rentals and referee's fees for the rescheduled game and MUST be paid at the time of the request.
Futsal Arrow The requesting team will be responsible for contacting the opposing team to find a suitable time and date for the rescheduled game. The Super F League will provide a list of available court slots for the rescheduled game.
Futsal Arrow If both teams do not find a consent for a new time and date for the rescheduled game, the game will be considered a forfeit by the requesting team.
